As a kid my family moved all across the country and I made friends everywhere. Computers were the way I kept in touch with friends from all across the globe. As an engineer I want to create software that enables that social activity and keeps people close. I want to always embody a personal aspect in the things I build, and address real problems with the tools I build. At the Digital Corps, I learned to lead cross-functional teams in the development of mobile and web applications. You can find my personal website at blakehair.com.
When I was three, my grandfather sat me on his lap in front of the computer. From that young age, I have been fascinated by what computers can do and how to make applications that harness those capabilities. I attended Ball State University where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Digital Forensics. I worked for a company called the Digital Corps where I learned how to develop mobile applications from start to finish. I am now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Graphics at the University of Utah. My personal portfolio can be found at jessicaahair.com.
